Casual visitors (non-members) are welcome to attend meetings of the Society. Meetings generally take the form of a talk by a guest speaker with a subsequent social gathering.

There is a brief monthly business of the Society aFire at Mining Exchange, 1871t these meetings but the formal work of the Society is conducted by the elected Committee which meets monthly prior to each general meeting. We welcome visitors to our meetings.

The Annual General Meeting is held in August of each year.

For members who cannot attend a meeting in Bendigo, there is a summary of the month's meeting activity and guest's talk in the society's newsletter ‘Marunari' which is distributed to members each month.
